Acute Inpatient Psychiatric Services
The Acute Unit is designed to assist in the diagnosis, stabilization and treatment of children who are experiencing severe emotional and mental issues. The child is provided intense therapy while on this unit. The average stay ranges from 8-12 days. These charges include services provided by a psychiatrist, psychologist, therapists, pharmacist, registered nurses and specially trained support staff. Charges also include any medical services needed such as lab tests, hearing tests and medications.
Child & Adolescent Residential Treatment
The Residential Treatment Units are designed for long-term therapy services provided to children of all ages. An average stay ranges from 60-120 days. Charges include services provided by a psychiatrist, psychologist, therapists, pharmacist, registered nurses, teachers and other specially trained support staff. Medications and other medical services that are related to the child’s diagnosis and treatment are also included in these charges.
