Leigh Fahlquist, LCPC

Leigh Fahlquist, LCPCLeigh Fahlquist, LCPC, has been a primary therapist at Shodair Children's Hospital since 2003, seeing the hospital’s youngest patients on its Children's Unit since 2006. While Leigh has experience working with children in a range of ages, his clinical focus for the past four years has been on early childhood mental health. Leigh earned his Bachelor's of Science in psychology from Texas A&M University at College Station in 1992 and his Master of Arts in counseling and human services from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 1999.

Leigh has extensive experience in the human services field, beginning as a mental health worker over 20 years ago. Since that time, Leigh has worked as an adult mental health case manager, a juvenile probation officer, and a youth in conflict worker with the Department of Social Services in Colorado. In 2001, Leigh received his Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor certification from the state of Montana.

A member of the Association for Play Therapy, Leigh has an interest in play therapy, family therapy, and Collaborative Problem Solving.
