Katherine B. Rappaport, M.D.
Dr. Katherine B. Rappaport joined the psychiatric treatment team at Shodair Children’s Hospital in 2005. She serves as medical director of the hospital’s Adolescent West Unit, which cares for children who are between the ages of 10 and 13. Her special areas of interest include substance use disorders, inpatient psychiatric treatment, and psychopharmacology.
Dr. Rappaport graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She then completed her psychiatric residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry.
In 1982, Dr. Rappaport became board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Ten years later, she received board certification in child and adolescent psychiatry. Additionally, Dr. Rappaport is board certified in addiction psychiatry.
